Kelly served an apprenticeship in astrology during high school from ’85 to ‘89 under professional astrologer and teacher Bonnie Wingo, near Boulder Colorado. In 1995 he began pursuing his calling as an astrologer and spiritual teacher, dedicating himself to a life of simplicity, faith, and divine inspiration. His first book on astrology, Celestial Renaissance: A Revolution of Astrology was published in 1997.  In 2001, Kelly developed a series of astrologically-related web sites for disseminating his ideas through online teaching, courses, and astrology tools.  He developed the Cosmic Weather Podcast in 2005, which has become one of the most inspiring astrology podcasts on the web.  Kelly has spoken to astrology groups throughout the U.S. and Canada and has presented lectures at major astrological conferences, such as UAC, ISAR, and NCGR.  In 2007, after a two-year study of filmmaking, Kelly began shooting his first feature-length film, Return of the Magi, the world’s first complete documentary of astrology.

Nick Dagan Best has one of the greatest research minds of the next generation astrologers, gifted with a passion for history and biographies and a brain that has practically memorized the ephemeris. She is author of eight books, including Moon Tides, Soul Passages and Dial Detective, 2nd Edition, both published by her current business, Starcrafts Publishing. Other books include The Witch’s Circle, A Time for Magick, Future Signs and Your Magical Child. Maria is also a Wiccan high priestess and an exhibiting artist specializing in Goddess imagery.

In 1978, Ms. Stanley enrolled in classes at UMKC in Kansas City, Missouri, to begin preparation for the American Federation of Astrologers certification program. She says, "When I decided to pursue astrology seriously, it never occurred to me to hang out a shingle and call myself an astrologer without any type of formal education." In 1980, she completed the program and began a practice. In 1983, she became a member of National Council for Geocosmic Research and subsequently took their Levels I through III certification exams. Ms. Stanley is the first person to become a NCGR - Level IV, Certified Astrologer in the field of Teaching. She was given this honor for her development of the curriculum which was subsequently taught at the Online College of Astrology, of which she is the president.  She is also proud to hold the position of Certified Astrological Professional with the International Society of Astrological Research.

Richard Tarnas is a professor of philosophy and cultural history at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, where he founded the graduate program in Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness. He also teaches archetypal studies and depth psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara.  Born in 1950 in Geneva, Switzerland of American parents, he is a graduate of Harvard University and Saybrook Institute.  Formerly the director of programs and education at Esalen Institute, he is the author of The Passion of the Western Mind, a history of the Western world view from the ancient Greek to the postmodern that became both a best seller and a required text in many universities.  His most recent book, Cosmos and Psyche: Intimations of a New World View, received the Book of the Year Prize from the Scientific and Medical Network in England.  He has taught graduate courses and seminars on archetypal astrology in conjunction with psychology, philosophy, and cultural history to many hundreds of students at accredited graduate schools during the past fifteen years.
